Shadow dancing while they walk. Santal children walk past a traditional hut near Bholpur, West Bengal. Santals are an indeginous tribe living in West Bengal, Chatisgar, Bihar, Jharkhan, Assam and parts of Nepal and Bangladesh. They speak their own language and have fiercely defended their own culture and way of life from outside influence. This area is called the Maoist belt as Maoist are very active here recruiting training and indoctrinating some of them.
